What does Premium actually unlock?: Four things: the Trip Planner, the Journey, Solar Intelligence, and the Gem Exchange — a 3–7 day solar conditions forecast plus an estimated evening battery range from your declared solar setup. Everything else — searching, campsite detail, the campsite solar estimate and today's conditions, saved locations and GPS-verified check-ins — stays free.
Can I buy it right now?: Yes. Sign in and subscribe from this page, monthly or yearly, at the rate set by your membership position. Payment is taken by our payment processor, and premium unlocks on your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. You can manage or cancel it any time from the same page.
What happens if my membership lapses or I cancel?: The premium tools lock, and nothing is deleted. Your trips, stops, XP, achievements, saved locations and verified check-ins all stay exactly where they are, and they come back the moment access returns.
Does Premium make me a Founding member?: No. Founding 25 is the first 25 confirmed members and is closed by position, not by purchase. Founding members hold premium for life, but paying for Premium never assigns a founding position.
Does Premium include free merchandise?: No. Premium does not include physical products. Completing achievement categories can unlock purchase eligibility for the matching gear, and no merchandise is for sale yet.
Is discovery ever going behind the paywall?: No. Finding somewhere to camp, reading what is actually known about it and checking in with GPS verification stay free.
